Three frontrunners for IOC director post

Vol 21, PW 3 (02 Nov 17) News in Brief

Three employees in IndianOil's pipeline division are emerging frontrunners to replace director pipelines Anish Aggarwal who steps down on March 31, 2018: AK Tewari, executive director (operations) sitting in Noida; PC Choubey, executive director and regional head of IndianOil's operations in the south-eastern region in Bhubaneswar - capital of oil minister Dharmendra Pradhan's home state Orissa; and VC Sati, executive director and western region head, sitting in Rajkot in Gujarat.

"Tewari is the oldest," we hear. "A few more executive directors might apply." CVs are due by November 30 but none are in yet.

"Maybe they are waiting to see who else applies?" questions a source. The PESB advertised the job on September 26.

IOC operates a pipeline network covering 12,484-km with a capacity to transport 93.7m t/y of petroleum products and 9.5m cm/d of gas.
