Pathan wants internal candidate as HR director of IOC

A Pathan, Chairman, Indian Oil Corporation, wants an internal candidate to head the company's human resources department, which fell vacant when its former director Subir Raha was appointed chairman of ONGC. On Wednesday 13th June, speaking on the sidelines of a conference on Energy Security in Delhi, Pathan told Petrowatch the Public Enterprises Selection Board will be holding interviews for the post shortly.

He said no advertisement to fill the post has yet been released. It's understood the selection process could take a minimum of three months.

A key contender for the HR post is B.K Mittal an ED in the same department.
