PESB interviews for BPCL director HR

Up to 25 candidates will be competing for the post of director human resources at Bharat Petroleum to replace outgoing incumbent SA Narayan who retires on June 30 next year.

PETROWATCH learns interviews for the post will be held at the Delhi office of the Public Enterprises Selection Board on (Tuesday) December 18. Narayan has been holding the job from June 1998 and retires aged 60 after completing two consecutive five-year terms in the job.

A source tells us seven of the 25 candidates are internal candidates from within BPCL, among them: Sanjay Krishnamurthi, executive director retail; DM Reddy, executive director HR services; S. Mohan, executive director HR development; SK Bansal, executive director corporate affairs; SP Gattoo, executive director information systems; and RK Mehra, executive director retail logistics.

The selected candidate is will hold job for five years or till retirement at 60 years of age, which ever is earlier.
