GSPC and Reliance importing LNG cargoes

Vol 17, PW 23 (03 Jul 14) News in Brief

GSPC and Reliance are importing one spot LNG cargo each over the next 15 days.

GSPC is bringing in a cargo from RasGas at Dahej between July 7 and 15. GSPC has so far brought in two cargoes from Nigeria LNG and four cargoes from RasGas this year.

Reliance landed a cargo at Hazira late in the evening on July 2. “Don’t expect more spot or short term cargoes in July,” says one LNG buyer.

“Dabhol is closed for the monsoon season and Dahej still faces problems with overcapacity.” For more on LNG cargoes at Dahej, Hazira, Dabhol and Kochi write to info@petrowatch.com for details of our real-time India LNG alert service.
