Stream delivers LNG to GSPC

GSPC is set to receive a second short term LNG cargo from Stream – a 50:50 JV between Repsol and Gas Natural of Spain.

PETROWATCH learns this coming Saturday (May 22) LNG tanker Castillo de Villalba, carrying 138,000 cubic metres of LNG from the Atlantic LNG liquefaction facility run by Stream in Trinidad and Tobago, is scheduled to berth at the Dahej LNG terminal. Last month, on April 21, Stream’s first cargo landed at Dahej aboard LNG tanker Catalunya Spirit.

Its third cargo is scheduled to arrive at Dahej around the same time next month. “Till December this year we will receive one cargo a month from Stream,” confirms GSPC.

Stream and GSPC signed a contract last December for the supply of nine short-term cargoes benchmarked to Henry Hub. Before its relationship with Stream, GSPC had imported four spot cargoes last year: from North West Shelf (June 13), Trinidad & Tobago (September 28), RasGas (October 23) and BG’s facility in Egypt (December 17).
