Redevelopment plan for Bombay High

By June this year, ONGC hopes to be ready with a redevelopment programme for the Bombay High.

The plan is based on recommendations by reservoir consultants, Gaffney Cline & Associates. In an office order dated 15th December, ONGC chief Bikash Bora said VK Sharma, Executive Director of ONGCs Mumbai region will have single-point responsibility to coordinate and carry out the plan.

The redevelopment plan of Bombay High is scheduled to be prepared by middle of 2000 using multidisciplinary approach, writes Bora, All departments in MRBC, including engineering and construction division will, henceforth, work under the administrative control of ED, MRBC. On January 8th, ONGC began a 3-month revamp of its Bombay High South platform.

Mazagaon Docks is revamping the Bombay High North platform.
