Qatari spot to Hazira for Reliance

Vol 17, PW 20 (22 May 14) News in Brief

Reliance is bringing in its 11th LNG cargo of the year from Ras Laffan in Qatar at Hazira on May 29 or 30.

Between January 1 and May 22, Reliance brought in 10 cargoes totalling 1.91m cubic metres, including eight Q-Flex cargoes. GSPC is also scouting for a spot cargo for June delivery after bringing in four spots in the first five months of the year.

GSPC became active in the spot market after GAIL stopped supplying it gas at the end of 2013 after a bitter price fight. For more on LNG cargoes at Dahej, Hazira, Dabhol and Kochi write to info@petrowatch.com for details of our real-time India LNG Alert service.
