Released on April 18 (2023), the list says Mumbai High asset manager C Mathavan will take over as ED western offshore in Mumbai by April 30 (2023). Sanjay Kumar Mazumder, asset manager of the Neelam & Heera Asset, will replace Mathavan as Mumbai High asset manager on the same day.

Umesh Kumar Rana, surface manager at the Mehsana asset, will replace Mazumder as Neelam & Heera asset manager. Karaikal will have a new asset manager in Uday Kumar Paswan, a GGM who will be promoted to ED on July 1 (2023).

Paswan, presently in Bokaro, replaces current Karaikal chief Anurag (no last name), who retires on July 31 (2023). Elsewhere, Krishna Kumar replaces Tripura asset manager Tarun Malik when he retires on May 31 (2023).

Kumar presently heads drilling services at the Assam Asset. Vishal Shastri will take over as Assam & Assam Arakan Basin (AAAB) manager and oversee the Silchar-based AAFB exploratory asset, replacing Deepak Sareen, who retires on June 30 (2023).

Sareen, in turn, replaced Sushma Rawat, ONGC's current director exploration. Former DGH additional director general Laxma Reddy, who was Rawat's assistant, immediately takes over as head of special projects.

Two new basin managers have been appointed in southern India while management relocates the KG-PG basin office from Chennai to Rajahmundry: Santanu Mukherjee will be the new Chennai-based Cauvery basin manager after his elevation to GGM on May 1 (2023). Mukherjee is currently in charge of the western onland group in Dehradun.

KG block manager K Karvannan will be the new Rajahmundry-based KG-PG basin manager. "Rajahmundry Asset shall provide all administrative support in this regard," says the ONGC order.
