High Asian spot LNG prices aren’t stopping the steady flow of cargoes at Petronet-LNG’s Dahej terminal in Gujarat.

PETROWATCH learns GAIL landed a 147,008-cubic metre spot LNG cargo at Dahej on May 27 and is expected to land another spot LNG cargo on June 5. British Gas is expected to land a spot LNG cargo at Dahej on June 8.

GAIL’s latest cargo arrived at Dahej aboard 150,000-cubic metre capacity LNG tanker Clean Energy, owned by Pegasus Shipholding and flying the Marshall Islands flag. After unloading, Clean Energy left Dahej sometime in the afternoon on May 28.

Petronet-LNG also landed two spot LNG cargoes at Dahej in May. On May 10, LNG tanker Maersk Qatar brought in a 143,376-cubic metre LNG cargo sourced from Qatar’s RasGas and loaded at Ras Laffan port in Qatar.

Later, on May 23, LNG tanker Castillo De Villalba landed at Dahej with a 135,345-cubic metre LNG cargo sourced by Petronet-LNG from Spanish company Gas Natural.
