Gas exports to India is a question expected to figure at a one day seminar in London Thursday (8 July) attended by Bangladeshi Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina.

Organised by Britains Confederation of British Industry (CBI), the seminar is part sponsored by Shell and Cairn Energy, two companies with significant gas interests in Bangladesh. Also attending is MD Sirajuddin, Executive Chairman, Bangladesh Board of Investment and M Idris Ali, Additional Secretary in Sheikh Hasinas office.

Kim Howells, Britains Minister of Competition and Consumer Affairs, makes the keynote address. The conference is at Centrepoint, in Londons West End.
