Salaries 'no constraint' for Cadila CGD arm

Vol 20, PW 21 (13 Jul 17) News in Brief

Here's a chance for city gas professionals to join the $54bn Cadila pharmaceuticals group.

Cadila's gas retail subsidiary Ahmedabad-based IRM needs managers, assistant managers, executives, technicians and station in-charges. IRM last week published ads in several Ahmedabad papers saying: "We want result oriented, dynamic and experienced professionals with a proven track record in the CGD sector.

Salaries will not be a constraint for candidates with the right qualifications, relevant experience and potential." IRM's founding team of Manas Khaire, Prashant Sagar and Raghuvirsinh Solanki, were previously at Haryana City Gas. GSPC executive director gas Ravindra Agarwal is an independent director on the seven-member IRM board as is former senior Gujarat IAS officer Maheshwar Sahu.

Last year (2016) IRM won licences for Banaskantha in Gujarat and Fatehgarh Sahib in Punjab. It has begun setting up CNG stations at seven different locations in Palanpur and Deesa cities in Banaskantha on the DODO (Dealer Owned Dealer Operated) model.
