Gujarat Gas commissions four CNG stations

Gujarat Gas has commissioned four CNG stations in quick succession at Bharuch, Bhavnagar and Jambusar cities.

Bharuch city got its third CNG station after a gap of almost three years when Gujarat Gas commissioned it on December 23, 2015 at Raj Rajeshwar Petroleum, an IndianOil outlet in Maktampura on the busy Bharuch to Zadheshwar main road. Similarly a new CNG station was commissioned at Jambusar in western Bharuch taking the total number of CNG stations in Bharuch district to 16.

Two more stations were commissioned in Bhavnagar in western Gujarat. One is located at a Bharat Petroleum outlet, Ramdev Petroleum in Chitra area, while the second is located at Swastik Petroleum, an IOC outlet.

Gujarat Gas is also now supplying gas in Jambusar – the first household connection was commissioned on November 15, 2015 and a local factory is taking 500 cm/d. Gujarat Gas operates 240 CNG stations and sells 773,000 kg/day.
