Disappointed bidders for NELP-II acreage must be curious to know why their bids weren't accepted - or what ranking they achieved behind the winner.

Luckily we can satisfy their curiosity. Block CB-ONN-2000/1 in Gujarat was the most fiercely contested, with a total of six bids.
