ONGC plans pre-bid for 19 marginal fields on 15th March

ONGC is planning a pre-bid conference on 15th March to answer concerns from service contractors interested in developing 19 offshore marginal fields offered alongside 20 blocks under NELP-V.

The conference will be held at Rang Bhavan, a public hall in Mumbai. ONGC has divided these fields into nine clusters: eight are oil developments and one is a gas development.

Each service contract for the oil development is up to 13 years from the date of award and for a gas cluster 18 years, including three years of the development period. Interested companies must have a turnover or net worth of up to Rs22cr ($5m).

The scope of work includes assessment and development, creation of facilities, production and supply of oil, gas and power in the identified cluster or field area. The tender closes on 19th April at 2pm and bids will be opened an hour later at ONGCs Priyadarshini building office in Mumbai.
