Reliance importing LNG cargo from Qatar

Reliance is bringing in a spot cargo from Qatar Gas at Hazira on (Saturday) May 10 aboard Marshall Islands flagged Q-Flex Shell tanker Al Sheehaniya, the tanker’s third delivery to Hazira in 24 days.

Separately, the Dabhol LNG terminal on the Maharashtra coast has closed for the monsoon, receiving its last cargo on April 28. Dabhol will re-open for business in October.

Our last alert on April 28 reported the arrival of Spain-flagged Catalunya Spirit at Dabhol with 135,076-cubic metres of LNG from Nigeria LNG sourced by Gas Natural and Union Fenosa for GAIL at $14.90/mmbtu to $15.40/mmbtu. From April 1 to April 30, India imported 2,503,921-cubic metres of spot, medium and short-term LNG at an average DES price of $15.48/mmbtu.
